Follow these quick tips to make sure your business is getting the most out of its Click and Collection page.

Website: One of the best ways to direct customers to your Click and Collection page is to let them know about it on your website. Update your website’s homepage with a pop-up notification or give the existing text on the page an update to let your customers know about the new way to get their hands on their favourite products. Want an example? Check out what a couple of our featured businesses – L’Art du Chocolat and Baker Boys – have done to their website homepages.

Social Media: Whether you have ten or ten thousand followers on your social media pages, they’re a great way to spread good news to your most loyal customers. Make sure to let them know about your new Click and Collection page with this checklist:

  • Let your follows know you’re now on Click and Collection! Get creative in how you spread the news, but make sure to include links to your new Click and Collection page in the captions.
  • Update your Instagram and Twitter bios and Facebook about section so that your customers can simply click through to your Click and Collection page. Make sure your Shop Now buttons links to your Click and Collection pages.
  • Follow Click and Collection on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn and we’ll follow you back. We love resharing our community’s posts, so make sure to help spread the word of what you have to offer. And you’ll never miss any of our updates we put out across our Social pages.

Word of Mouth: Even during a global pandemic, you can’t ignore the power of word of mouth for spreading the good news about your business’s new Click and Collection page. Tell your customers about your page and ask them to spread the word (they’ll be delighted to have something to talk about other than Normal People, the Leaving Cert being cancelled and banana bread!). Also put up posters, update your chalkboards and do whatever else you can think of to let passers-by know of the new way for them to order up the goods they’ve missed since March.

QR Codes: Make sure to print out your unique QR code and the associated template found from the ‘Promote’ page under Settings on your Business Dashboard. Stick your QR code up in the window so that customers passing by can scan it and be taken straight to your business’s Click and Collection page.

Make sure to keep an eye out on our Social pages for more information on how to get the most out of your Click and Collection page. If you have any further questions about how to promote your page, feel free to email me at alex@clickandcollection.com and I’d be more than happy to help you out.
